Michael Bolton has reportedly decided to write a song about his run-in with Dancing With The Stars judge Bruno Tonioli.

The singer demanded an apology from Tonioli after he described Bolton's jive dance during week two of the competition as "the worst ever", a request which producers later denied. He was later eliminated from the show.

According to Pop Eater, Bolton is not over the incident and may use it to create new music.

"Bruno's attack was the best thing that has happened to Michael since the '80s," a source told the publication.

"Suddenly we are all talking about Michael Bolton again and it's not an opportunity he's going to let pass by."

The insider added: "So don't expect Michael to shut up and move on any time soon. He's going to write a song about the experience. Something everyone can relate to."

Bolton will fill in for Susan Boyle on tonight's live results show.

Dancing With The Stars airs Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC.
